How to wall mount a vanity.
Find wall studs you can use for your clips and mark where you plan to install them.
Drill through the mounting bracket and into the wall at each point that you will need to use screws to secure the vanity.
You can then slide the mirror onto the clips.
Use a level to make sure they re even.
Make a pilot hole with a inch diameter drill bit through the middle of the back rail at each end of the vanity.
Tap the wall plugs into the wall if required so that they are flush with the walls surface.
We bought a wall hung vanity because we liked the look the extra visible floor space makes the bathroom appear a little bigger and because you can easily customize the height and store stuff in baskets hidden underneath.
However they require mounting directly into studs and the chances of finding them in the right place in your wall are not good.
Step 6 drill pocket holes.
Remove the vanity unit and set it aside.
Use a drill and a pocket hole jig to drill pocket holes in the nailers.
If the holes are not completely lining up or you want a more secure install use wall anchors to attach the vanity to the wall.

Using the electric drill drill the holes into the wall where you have marked.

With a helper rest the vanity on a 5 gallon bucket topped with enough plywood scraps to raise the cabinet to the level line on the wall.
Use a bit that is the same size or smaller than the wall anchors.
Place the vanity unit against the wall and use screws to secure the vanity unit in place.
