Wait at least 20 seconds before you cancel the self clean setting on the oven. A beep will then sound and the display screen will read door opn. Press and hold the oven lockout pad. If you try to use your oven and find it locked press the clear or reset button to stop the oven and turn it off.

Again wait for at least another 20 seconds. Program your frigidaire oven to self clean. Depending on you exact model there is a good chance the door latch motor is behind the back panel of the oven. Unlock a frigidaire oven door by pressing the clear off button until the lock feature disengages allowing the door to be opened.

Re engage the lock by pressing the same button. The oven should unlock. Unplug the oven and remove the back panel. Set the oven to self clean.

If it s still locked start an oven cleaning cycle. You should see a small motor with a connected rod going over the top of the oven to the front of the machine.
