Open the door then measure the bottom of the door using a tape measure.
Make sure that you face the inside of the door as you take this measurement.
Weather sealing a garage door usually involves a simple process of adding or replacing the bottom door seal and the weatherstripping on the stop molding along the sides and top of the door.
Close your garage door and allow it to remain closed for a period of 24 to 48 hours.
There may be times that your garage door no longer lines up properly with garage door locks.
Measure the bottom of the door.

Unlike the measurements you took for the top and side seals you will need to measure for the bottom seal by measuring the bottom of the door itself.
It may also include adding thin weatherstripping between the door panels if you want to make the door as airtight as possible.
Apply an adhesive remover to any remaining.
It may cause the adhesive to fail and not keep the door seal securely in place.
