Locate the two adjusting screws at the bottom of the door on the face or edge of the door and pry off the trim caps that cover the screws.

Take a roller to your local hardware store and purchase a replacement.
Re install the exterior door if you have moved it and the task is complete.
Always take the roller with you to the hardware store to avoid purchasing the wrong piece.
The rollers are at the top and or at the bottom of the door.
Remove the screen door if you have one.
Grasp both sides of the frame and lift the door up off of its tracks.

Insert the replacement sliding door rollers into the cavity along the bottom of the door.
Raise it just enough to clear the track and roll smoothly.
Unscrew the rollers and remove them.
After the door is raised and sliding freely shut the door and adjust one roller again until the door is square with the door frame.
First lift the rollers off the track by sliding a flat head screwdriver or putty knife under the roller and pushing up.
Replace the bottom frame.
