Concrete is a porous material when fully cured.
How to repair a leaky concrete wall.
We offer the following three solutions for leaking walls and crack repair.
If a concrete crack is moving the crack can also split open the sealant.
Mix hydraulic water stop by adding about 4 to 4 1 2 parts water stop cement to 1 part clean water.
The trick to this is to find a solution that will not peel off the wall or fail as the wall naturally expands and shrinks over time.
Seal the entire concrete wall with a waterproof masonry.

When properly done sealing leaking wall cracks is a permanent effective solution.
Injecting a typical wall crack with an epoxy or urethane resin is done under pressure pushing the material from the inside all the way to the outside.
The injection process fills the crack from top to bottom from inside to outside.
The captured water is then routed to a sump pump for evacuation to outside.
Seal the wall crack.
Step 4 use a margin trowel to thoroughly mix the material to a heavy putty consistency making sure that the mix is uniform and lump free.
A leaking block foundation wall is fixed from the inside by draining the block walls into a drain system installed beneath the basement floor.
It can also develop small pinhole openings that act as capillaries for water transmission.
Check out this page for more detail on interior perimeter drain systems.
So only use sealants in situations where the leak is a stationary problem.
