How to remove roof tiles from inside.
Am trying to find the cause and have looked in the attic and found a cracked tile not sure if this is the whole.
Sods law said that the tiles would be behind rafters so i had to slide the broken tile over another tile to get it into clear space and then slide it out.
Getting the broken tile out was relatively easy.

There is obviously no felt on the roof either so it looks like you are going to need a new roof.
Taken me a while but i replaced the broken tiles at the weekend from inside the roof.
You should be able to simply slide the tiles back with out removing them leaving enough space to get your hand in.

Have got a damp problem in bedroom which seems to be getting worse it seems to appear on the sloping part of the ceiling right the way across and the walls are getting slightly damp.

Perhaps experts will laugh at this question but i wonder if i can replace a damaged clay red roof tile on the roof of my 1930 s house without getting someone to climb up a ladder to access a difficult to reach part of the roof when i could quite easily reach it from inside the loft.

Some of the tiles may have clips or nails holding them but not all.
Then use a brick trowel to lift up the broken over the baton underneath and slide it down and out.
