Quick video tutorial for removing the door panel from a 2016 honda civic coupe lx. Lift off plastic door panel. Insert the pry bar tool in between the bottom edge of the door panel and the metal door frame. If you have questions or comments feel free to post them below.

Firmly pull out the bottom edge of the door panel to release the plastic pop rivet friction fasteners. Unplug the power lock switch and set the handle to the side. Pop off the panel using the flat head screwdriver then remove the two screws underneath using the phillips head screwdriver. Lift door panel off frame.

Pull the handle off the door and use the flat head screwdriver to remove the clip holding the handle to the door linkage. Disconnect the small plastic connector clips holding the door panel in place by pulling the door panel straight out using 1 swift motion. Continue pulling out the pop rivets all along the bottom edge and both sides of the door panel. Firmly pull out the plastic pop rivet friction fasteners along the bottom edge of the door panel.

The clips will unsnap and the panel will come right off. Pull the door panel straight out with your hands to remove it. Watch as i remove the door panel from my 2017 civic type r.
