The wall behind my sofa has been bare for months.
It stayed half done for a few more months until i decided to ditch the whole gallery wall and moved on to something totally different something a little bit glam and something totally diy.
My wall was 14 ft.
Measure the length of each wall in the room with a tape measure and add the lengths together to find out the size of the perimeter.
The sheets of plywood are 4 x 8 so you can simply calculate how many of them you will need to cover your area.
Wide so i purchased four panels.
Panels and one was cut to 2 ft.
Create a frame to add on top of the plywood like we did for my wood slice art bear art or adventurer s sign but i really wanted this picture to extend off of the wall the way that a thick canvas would.
Once i placed the plywood back on the wall in the correct position i noticed a small angle gap on the side near the steel beam.
Not sure how to hang that large piece of art or mirror on your wall.
Divide the perimeter of the room by the length of the plywood panels you want to use to find out how many panels you ll need.
The first step is to measure your wall.
I ended up using the jigsaw and removing another 1 2 inch from the cutout at the top.
Try this easy trick using painter s tape and a drill.
This was preventing the plywood from making it up over the steel bottom piece.
I got it half way up but wasn t in love.
